Concrete Repair
Reinforced concrete is the most widely used structural material and is capable of delivering decades of maintenance-free service. However, exposure to aggressive environments plus inadequacies in construction or design can result in loss of integrity of the cement matrix or, more commonly, corrosion of the reinforcing steel The resulting voluminous corrosion product (rust) cracks and delaminates the concrete cover.
Concrete repair involves identifying, removing and replacing the damaged or degraded concrete and re-establishing a protective environment for the reinforcement by the use of high quality mortars, electrochemical treatments and protective coatings.
